Besides the Fixed-Wireless and Satellite connections, which are mainly for use in rural areas, we have an increasing list of fixed-line connection types: The list currently includes:
- FTTP - The original Fibre To The Premises, also called FTTH (Fibre To The Home);
- FTTN - Fibre To The Node, also called FTTC (Fibre To The Cabinet);
- FTTB - Fibre To The Basement;
- FTTdp - Fibre To The Distribution Point; and
- HFC - Hybrid Fibre Coaxial.
